The small is all curriculum was developed as part of the Chicago Park District’s Young Cultural Stewards programming. *small is all* is a virtual youth program centering BIPOC & LGBTQIA+ youth ages 10-15. This youth apprenticeship builds on the work of Black liberation doula and writer adrienne maree brown and Potawatomi Ecologist Robin Wall Kimmerer, and invites young people to deeply engage with their ecosystems through multimedia arts practices. This curriculum was co-created by teaching artists Peregrine Bermas, Abena Motaboli, and Art Therapists in Training Dori Tung, BoBo Kim, and Julia Daniels with editing by Gabriela Garay, with cover art and curriculum design by Irina Zadov.
